Cleveland Music Group was fantastic to work with during our wedding planning! We worked with Scott Jones, who was absolutely fantastic. We had total trust in him to deliver the type of music we requested and he exceeded our expectations. The dance floor was busy the entire night with guests from all age ranges! He did a great job emceeing our reception and was engaging with the crowd. I would recommend you use CMG!

DJ Dan ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT. The best DJ I've ever had at a wedding and I'm so happy it was for my own! He kept the night moving, made it so fun and interacted just enough to make it a blast. He did a perfect balance of music like we asked and by the end of the night EVERYONE was on the dance floor. So many of my friends said they've never seen that many ppl dancing. DJ DC / Dan is the best - he's available 100% recommend booking him!

At the end of our wedding night, we told our DJ, Evan, that he definitely UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT. When we told him we wanted to be reminded of the early 2000s while also balancing in our parents favorite music and keep the dance floor full, he made it happen. No one sat down all night and even if they tried they all said then a great song came on and they had to party. We had the Tribe Hot Dogs show up (I surprised my husband) and DJ Evan was so great at keeping the secret and getting the party started!

My wife and I got married in August 2021. When we were in the initial stages of planning our wedding in the Summer of 2020, investing in a great band was at the top of our list. We had been to a past wedding where the live music MADE the wedding, and it was important to us to recreate that atmosphere at ours. We received a few recommendations from our wedding planner in Cleveland, OH and CMG was one of those.
After doing our research, we decided to execute a contract with CMG for our wedding reception. Leading up to the wedding, I was naturally debating if we made the right decision or not just because of how important having a great band was to us. As soon as I talked to Erin (the band leader) for the first time, she was so organized and excited that I knew we made the right decision.
The planning process with CMG was seamless, but most importantly the atmosphere they created at our wedding was AMAZING. We had a guest list ranging from a ton of young adults / college friends to parents and family friends. CMG put on an absolute show. The vocals and guitar solo's were top notch. The dance floor was packed all night, and guests that weren't dancers even stayed till midnight close just to enjoy the band's performance.
We received SO MANY compliments the day after on how great the band was. People were wildly impressed. CMG did an incredible job in the planning, performance, lighting, and bridal party announcements and they are WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT. Thank you to Erin and the rest of the band! - Joe

We hired DJ LONDON BRIDGES ( Brandon ) as our DJ for our wedding and it was one of the best choices we could make for our special day! He had the best energy, positivity and sense of humor to make our guests comfortable. He has the best music & lights for your reception to get everyone dancing! People couldn't believe how many guests stayed dancing the entire night! Thanks for everything!

My husband and I hired Scott Jones as our wedding DJ (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). We are SO happy that we did! He took the time to have numerous phone calls with us to fully understand what our vision was for all three components of the evening, gave us his expertise, and was super patient when it took us forever to get him our "must play list".
His personality is calm, cool, and collected while simultaneously being super fun and upbeat. Not to mention professional. From a list of about 20 songs we sent him, he curated the most perfect music experience. At several points through the night we looked at each other because we had forgotten to put a song on the "list" and it felt like he read our minds and played it anyways!
What talent. Our guests (and my husband and I) were out on the dance floor the entire night and never wanted to leave. When we decided 30 minutes before we had to be out of the venue that we wanted to do an impromptu hora, he rolled with the punches and was ready almost immediately to jump in. He played a great balance of top 40 hits, throwbacks, and oldie but goodies. Everyone had the best time at our wedding and we definitely have Scott to thank for that. Both my wife and I are introverts who don't like talking on the phone, loud concerts, or pushy people. While we do have a few bands we really like, we don't have a very refined sense of music and probably listen to more podcasts and musicals than anything you can dance to. So it might come as no surprise that finding a DJ for our wedding was one of the things we procrastinated over the longest.
We researched for a while and filled out the contact forms for a few we thought looked okay and, let me tell you, some of them were just as insufferable as we'd feared. I want to point all this out because I think it's important for understanding just how pleased we were working not just with Cleveland Music Group, but also with the DJ we ended up choosing, Christian de la Vega.
Beyond that, as non-music people, we weren't terribly helpful in coming up with a playlist. We reached out early, had a pleasant and short email chain with the owner Eric. He didn't pressure us and only followed up once or twice after a few weeks of silence. He answered all our questions and narrowed down the possible DJs to a list of four or five and then sent us quick video intros of each so we could make a decision.
Due to the venue's intimate atmosphere, we went with a pretty basic package and they didn't press to upsell. When we met with Christian in person, he remembered details of basically every wedding he'd ever done with both amusing anecdotes and stuff to watch out for from each. When we mentioned we wanted some very specific nerdy stuff from YouTube for the processional and first dance, he was able to make it work.
He even showed us a catalogue of different suits and asked us if we wanted him to wear anything specific. We ended up liking the Mario one the best, but Bob Ross and Spider-Man were close seconds. I think the most telling thing about a DJ, though, is how active the dance floor stays and ours was packed until the end of the night. Christian was able to read the mood of the crowd and blended and mixed songs so they'd only play the most popular parts and would only let it continue if it seemed like it was working.
We even had an impromptu sing-along to Mulan later on. I can't really say why or when we'd really need a DJ again, but if we did I would absolutely want to repeat the great experience we had working with CLE Music Group and CDLV.

We had The Element for our wedding and they were beyond phenomenal. Erin, their lead singer, is a doll. She was so bubbly and kind, and really wanted to make sure that we picked the right band for our big day. We wanted everyone dancing and having a blast at our reception, and after watching them perform at Brother's Bar, it was clear they could make it happen. Erin and Tony do the lead vocals and they are both SO talented and versatile.
They sent us a list of their songs and it was perfect for us. We met with Erin and she walked us through the timeline. She was so professional and organized. She acted at MC for the day as well. She recommended kicking off the night with Hava Nageela, which was something we'd never seen before. They had nearly all of our 300 guests on the dance floor, and it stayed packed throughout the night. Erin and Tony do the lead vocals and they are both SO talented and versatile.
They brought their own equipment and lighting, and even played cocktail hour music through Erin's personal speaker for us. My husband and I wanted to do our first dance to a song that wasn't on the list and the band learned it for us. Overall, I couldn't be more enthusiastic about how wonderful The Element was.
