Pete Wagner began the organization in 1954. It swiftly became the most prolifically hired band in the Tri-state area. Paul Wagner, Pete's son, has guided the 2nd generation of the band since 1986. Trained on standards and Dixieland, pursued other musical genres for 15 years beginning in 1968. First, toured Europe extensively with a soul/rock band.

We would highly recommend The Pete Wagner Band for your wedding. We had a large wedding and our dance floor was packed the entire time! The Pete Wagner Band was enjoyed by every generation. The play big band and jazz, which we loved. Paul was so accommodating and easy to work with. He even made song recommendations. Our first dance was truly unforgettable!
