We had our 6 year old's birthday party here and could not have been more pleased. From booking online, to the rates, to the communication, to the event roll-out, everything was easy. The space is clean, parking is easy, the staff is friendly and professional, and there's plenty of space for kids and adults to have fun. The only thing I might do differently is add balloons and bubbles as an add-on, in place of the glow party, to make for a brighter photo package. But the kids loved the glow party, and the parents appreciated a quiet dark cool place to chill on the sidelines.

We had a party at Pump It Up in Alexandria on 5/29/2022. All the staff was amazing, from the time we walked in, to the time we left, they did an amazing job. We had a staff by the name of Machi(I believe that's his name) that went above and beyond to ensure my daughters 6th birthday was amazing. He was extremely interactive and helpful. If you're looking for a place that is full of fun for the kids and no work for parents this is the place. I can't brag enough about how amazing and awesome this place was and that is in big part of the interactive staff. The entire party had a wonderful time. We love this place!

Highly recommend Pump it Up to host your kids birthday party! You will not be disappointed. Superb staff and they know what they are doing. Excellent process and very organized. They have everything in one location and you have the option customize your birthday package with super cool add ons such as the glow in the dark party. We have been a repeat customer for the past four years! Great place and the best staff!

I was just here for a kids birthday party. It was cool. kids had fun but there were two things I didn't like. I liked that they paid extra to have balloons dumped at the beginning of the party. It was a nice add on feature. I didn't like that the balloons were being picked up before we left the first room. So the kids were playing with the balloons and the staff was picking up the balloons around the kids.
The people who threw the party, paid for that extra little moment of happiness for the kids. I feel as though the balloons should've been kept on the ground until the kids went to the next room. Also this second part is completely out their realm of control, but the pizza from where ever they order sucks. Those pizza slices were so hard. It's obvious they had been sitting out.
But again, I'm sure it's not their fault. I assume they order it at the beginning of the party. (Or I would hope) Point is by the time you actually get to eat, it's cold and hard. Everything else is cool. Kids have fun. Really love how at the end of the party when everyone is sitting and eating, you can see all the pictures they took. Also love how they keep the birthday kid behind to make them feel special before walking into the eating area.

I was there this past week for my granddaughters birthday party. Place is run by a bunch of kids. No ADULT managers on site to assist with any issues. I was overcharged and no one on site had "authorization" to adjust anything. Make sure you look at the bill before you pay. Aside from the over charge, they add a "suggested" gratuity to the bill and don't mention anything about it. Thankfully I noticed it prior to be charged an additional $150 for a tip.
The party room was filthy. Your shoes actually get stuck to the floor. A guests mom asked if they wash the floors and sanitize between parties and she said not really. The whole check out situation was a shame because the kids had fun! Two of my granddaughters little friends were booked for parties in the next month and were both canceled because they witnessed our check out. Adults need to be on site to handle any problems because children to not know how to do it. My family will never book another party at Pump it Up in Freehold.

My child stepped on a pin upon walking in! There is no cleaning or sweeping in between groups and debris is left on the floor. For a place that requires socks only, they should at minimum sweep in between groups. My child was screaming hurt we were asking for help and the staff members just stood there. They didn't even have a first aid kit to clean the injured area. My child was traumatized didn't want to step foot off the bench after that. Spoke to the owner they wouldn't even refund us for the visit. Awful.

The party itself was fun for the children ages 2-7 years old. I am concerned about the cleanliness of the facility. The family hosting the party chose to have balloons released from the ceiling for the children to play with which initially was great until we all realized that the staff was gathering the balloons to be released again during another party.
We did not assume this, we did ask and were told that the balloons are reused. Typically this is unsanitary just based on common illnesses that young children have but during covid times? Every parent there was rushing their children to the bathroom to wash or taking out the hand sanitizer (Yes they do provide hand sanitizer). If they reuse the balloons, how well to do they clean the rest of the things there that are constantly in use? Just disgusting. Does using different balloons really cut into the profit that much?

I would give them a zero if I could. I reached out to PUMP it UP IN Freehold once again to discuss getting my money back for a Birthday Party that could not happen due to Covid-19. Luis the manager/owner was so incredibly rude with no empathy at all for the current situation. He originally was going to hold me to the contract for cancelling my March 20th party when no guests were coming then they HAD to close so he offered me up to a year to reschedule, but no refund of the deposit.
I reached out to him again in June to state that things do not look like they will be opening up and to please refund me my deposit. I did dispute it will my CC company who stated they will give me a response in July, which was his initial response was to dispute it with my Credit Card Company. So this was his response to me after reaching out to him again Melanie, I know you have spoken with several different managers including myself on or before March 12th and you were told that we could not refund a non refundable deposit due to COVID-19 and that we could suspend deposit for up to 14months from original party date.
Since that time we have not heard from you via email or by phone until May 20th when we got a letter stating you were disputing the charge with your credit card company. Once a chargeback gets to us the original deposit is forfeited and cannot be used for a future event being we have to pay admin fees to fight the case for us which is probably why you are now contacting us because most likely you have lost the case.
Unfortunately we still can not issue a refund, and the deposit cannot be used for a future date and time being that it has been used for admin fees to fight the CC company with the chargeback. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Luis So Luis will no longer allow my deposit to be used toward a future party. I guess it costs him $150 to fight the credit card company. Obviously just being spiteful. Poor business! And they cater to families and children?

As a mom of 2 kids under 6 yrs, we've been to our fair share of parties and this place had some poor customer service. they wouldn't give the kids water, only lemonade, bc the hosts didn't purchase bottled water. after an hour plus of jumping around and sweating they couldn't throw some ice in a pitcher and fill it with tap water. c'mon guys, hydrate the kids, not hard. instead they pointed us to a water fountain where I filled 6 cups individually, it was just odd.
To boot, they had someone dress as Anna from Frozen and the poor girl dressed up had the wig on sideways, the dress didn't fit, and she was trying her best not to flash the kids, it was comically awful. when the party host complained to the staff (since she paid a good amount for it) they were unapologetic and said they weren't able to refund her for the service. after additional unnecessary complaints, they were finally compensated with additional services.
I don't think anyone working there was over 20 yrs old, shame on the owners/mgmt for putting those kids in these types situations. I'm sure they were all following whatever protocol they were taught and pulled it through just as the script read. We will be sure to let our community know there are far better options out there for a kids party.

This is a place most kids, at least mine, will have a blast at! We come quite often. I got a great deal on open play passes, but even when you pay on the spot, the price isn't bad. IMO, (and I'm not a germaphobe or afraid of my kid getting sick from leaving house) this place is clean, and I''m a clean freak. My kids have never complained of wet feet, or were "scared" of the glow in the dark parties. Actually, we just came back from a glow party and my kids raved about it.
My 4 year old did just fine by herself, in the darkness. Yes, the staff is young, but this is not a drop and go and they aren't meant to be babysitters, so parents, just watch your kids. The seating areas are good too, since they are right in the middle. I can sit down and see my kid in every area of the space.

I would give this place ZERO stars. Completely unaccommodating. I came for a birthday party and brought a second child with me that wasn't participating in the party and would be by my side. They wouldn't let me bring him back unless he was added to the headcount. As a single mother, I find this disgusting and discriminatory. Staff is rude and too immature to be managing a place full of adults.

If you love wasting money and missing your child's birthday trying to get what you paid for book here or Lakewood. The inefficiency, lack of involvement, and discoordination of the staff ruined my son's birthday. The children did not get the allotted bounce time due to having to wait on the staff. We payed significantly more for a balloon drop and bash, yet they could not get it to work and the kids had to wait.
When they finally did get this to work, they dropped the wrong side thus the children were not under the balloons. In addition, almost immediately they started cleaning up the balloons. The children had no time to play with them! When voicing my concerns to the event coordinator, I was told she would let me know if the children could have the time back to bounce longer (I asked for just 10 minutes.) No one got back to me and the attendants called the children to put their shoes on for the party room early!
The children did not get anywhere near the allotted time to bounce. As a result, I missed an additional 20 minutes of my son's party on the phone with the owner and at times being on hold. We were offered $25 for the games not being played, but nothing for the missed bounce time nor my husband and I missing out on our son's party waiting for the owner. PLEASE do not waste your time and money to make a horrible memory! You cannot get this time back. I would not wish this party experience on my worst enemy. Many parents from this party were disgusted and scheduling parties elsewhere.

I was going to book a birthday party here, but I was told by a family who just had their daughter's party to NEVER BOOK HERE. They argued with management for 2 hours over the bill because they were overcharged for everything INCLUDING WATER! The manager told them the contract "wasn't binding" and it was his word over theirs. They even had to get the police involved. What an AWFUL way to end your child's birthday experience. I would've liked to host a party here, but now I'm afraid to do so.

So much fun! I've been to a million bounce houses and this one is by far the best! The staff working the party I attended was so amazing and good with the children. They offer so many extras too to make a birthday very special. I loved it so much we are actually driving 40 min away from where we live to have our daughter's birthday party there!
The owner Jim was so accommodating and helpful throughout the process of booking. He really appreciates your business and tries to make his guests happy. I can't wait to celebrate my daughters birthday there in a June and will write another review after the party! So we just had our daughters 4th birthday party and I cannot say about about how wonderful the staff was and the amount of fun our party had!
Right from the get go we were greeted with a warm, friendly staff that went over every detail. They were so energetic and engaging with all the kids from beginning to end from playing with them, helping them, and organizing fun games. They constantly checked in throughout to make sure everything was going ok and if we needed anything else. They made my 4 year old feel so special on her birthday and she can't stop talking about how she wants to go back.
They took care of everything from the setup, cleanup, awesome goodie bags, food, and cake (which they created exactly what my daughter asked for) for a very affordable price. The equipment there by far exceeds any other bounce house I've been to that even the adults had fun on the slides. They even took all the photos for us so we had no stress with that. Overall, this will be an unforgettable birthday for our princess and my only regret is that there is not a pump it up closer to where I live. Thank you to Jim, Luis, Britney and the amazing staff for just a fabulous day!

I understand a policy is in place but it is April now n we have yet to receive a call saying that the cameras were reviewed. This is the first time we've even heard that the cameras were reviewed and nothing was out of place. And it was in reply to a yelp review. A number was left, and several people were spoken to in regards to this incident. Just wish a manager would of called a little sooner.

This place is exceptionally clean for a party venue. They have toddler days and my friends and I always make it a point to bring our kids, it's usually empty. They blast Disney music which is much appreciated by my daughter. We went to a bday party here it was run by high school kids so of course it was done half-assed which was expected. But overall it was a great party enjoyed by kids and parents. The prices are reasonable since the going rate for a kids party is usually around $1,000 (absurd, I know). Definitely a good place to check out during open jump!

Great place for indoors bouncy houses, boys love it, don't go if ur kids are little (less than 30 month old) the bouncy houses are huge but fun, staff are nice, manager isn't very friendly when i was asking questions about bday parties, could be me asking way to much details. Check ur schedules online and give it a try.

Would give zero stars but there is no such option. The carpeting in the play areas is dirty and kids are playing/crawling on it. There are kids playing on the floor next to parents in their shoes! How awful is that? Attended for a friend child's bday party. Kids working there are very young and have no experience with kids. It was very unsafe a lot of times.
My my child got his socks wet. There was a roof leak in a corner once you exit one of the "slides" in the first room. We are not going back there even if we're invited for a party. Plus, my friend said she feels that she was overcharged for the party as some fees "popped up" after the fact and after the party was over.

The in the dark/black light party is kind of scary if you have more than one small child to keep an eye on. It was a little overwhelming. Tug of war that included small kids and adults was a recipe for kids to get hurt! The party at the end had a really annoying game that made the kids sad. The kids had to guess random information about the birthday child in order to get their snacks.
Not only was the birthday boy sad his friends didn't know his favorite super hero, the kids were upset when they guessed wrong and couldn't get cake! After an hour of bouncing, dont hold back the snacks unless you want kids to riot. I would not like to attend another kids birthday party here.

LOVED it! Definitely my favorite indoor bouncehouse spot! I have been to a number of these indoor bouncehouses and this was BY FAR the BEST. Dylan, the attendant today, was EXCELLENT with the kids- definitely recommend him for any events! Located off Asbury Road, you could miss the establishment unless you are really looking for it. For reference, it is the second warehouse building from the street, so pay attention!
We went for an open play this morning. We paid $10.95 per child for entry and joined the other kids in the first room. This room featured three bounce house structures: an obstacle course (that reminded me of something out of the TV show Wipeout), a mountain structure that challenged kids to climb up a slippery slope and a slide. There was also an airball game, projector floor, bounce ride on animals, and some foam giant building blocks.
The first room was great, even for my toddler! He loved the obstacle course and could navigate the majority of it himself. I did have to help him find the first step on the climb hill, but after that, he was fine! Loved the bounce animals and enjoyed trying to catch the animals on the projector floor. About 30minutes into our playtime, we were moved to the second room. Here, two more obstacle course (more challenging than the other), a huge climb up slide, an inflatable basketball course, inflatable skee ball, a shooting airball game and an air hockey table.
We loved the inflatable basketball course and the huge climb up slide. I was worried my toddler wouldn't be able to navigate the climb himself, but he did it several times with no issues. Of course either I or the attendant went with him everytime. SERVICE IS EXCELLENT! Today's open play was attended to by Dylan. DYLAN IS FANTASTIC! He learned all the ages and kids' names quickly and interacted with each to learn their interests.
Once he discovered what they liked, he introduced the kids to different areas that would interest them- Each time, you could see the child's face light up with DELIGHT! Dylan was able to manage several kids at once and was quick to come to their aid. He was also able to navigate tantrums and quickly distract the children so they were entertained again.
I would definitely ask for him for future birthday events here or open plays. I have been to several of these places and having a caring attendant makes all the difference. At the end of playtime, the children were taken into a party room where snacks and drinks were waiting for them. Today they were given the option of lemonade, fruit punch, apple juice or water and provided gold fish in cute little cups.
When one child accidentally dropped their snack, Dylan quicky refilled the snacksnd cleaned up the mess with a smile Excellent service! Can not wait to return! Definitely not going anywhere else!

Liked it a lot. My boys had so much fun. We went on a pizza session and were very pleased. The staff were super friendly. I just wished they boy wouldn't count the napkins and plates given. It felt a little cheap. Overall, clean, safe and fun place for the little ones. Will plan a birthday party soon.
