Went to an event and LOVED it! The dialogue was hilarious and very interactive. The show crew were great at throwing in some improv jokes here and there keeping it really fun. The format of the "mystery investigation" allowed for a lot of good laughs from everyone including the show crew. The food was delicious, both the chicken and prime rib I had were cooked spot on. If you have a group you want to have some major laughs/delicious food with I'd definitely recommend The Mystery Cafe for your event!

What a great show! We had Mystery Cafe for a company party (36 people). The cast did a great job playing the parts and getting people to interact. They had us laughing the whole time. Would definitely do it again. The food as well as the wait staff of Majestic Oaks was all awesome. Everyone loved it, thank you!

What a great experience! If you get a chance to experience this show it's total worth it! The cast is great, food is exceptional! Dan Rooney stole the show! We met Dan a few years back and he said if we were ever in the area we should stop by and check out the mystery cafe. We have a couple of college kid so we thought we could try and do something different with them. It was fantastic. If your like us and wondering what to do with high school or college kids. Check this out! So funny!

Mystery Cafe, ( attended the Bunker Lake venue Jan, 2017) was clever, funny, well acted, "hometown" entertainment, completely enjoyed on a cold winter evening! And the food was well done, also. Much to talk about on the way home. Looking forward to attending Mystery Cafe again, in the near future. Thanks, Brian

Not a great experience. We went to "Let's Kill the Boss" in Bloomington. Arrived at a hotel, and was directed to one of the ballrooms (just a big empty room with a few tables). The venue did not give off the ambiance that this would be a fun/fancy dinner that would necessitate a $65/each price tag. We sat, and tried to remain open minded. Want something to drink other than water with/before your meal?
Too bad. Cash bar. The actors tried their best to lighten the mood before the show began, but it was already a deep hole. 7:00, show begins. The show itself is the only reason the rating wasn't a 1/5. Mildly funny, and reasonably clever writing & execution. The cast put a lot of effort in. Salad came out at 7:30. Meal at 8:05. Man, we were hungry.
Good thing we were hungry, because the food tasted like it was prepared by Hungry Man frozen dinners. We were very hopeful for a nice steak, and were relatively disappointed. It just tasted like hotel food. Final thoughts: Same price as Chanhassen Dinner Theater for a fraction of the quality & fun. I'd maybe recommend it if you were already at the hotel, and had nothing better to do.
