While learning food preparation skills is the main ingredient at YCA, each class adds a heap of kitchen safety, a scoop of etiquette, a handful of table setting, a pinch of menu planning, and laughter to taste. Julie Burleson, founder of YCA, believes this is the perfect recipe for showing children cooking is a lifelong skill that can be artistic, creative, and fun.
Weekly Classes at Young Chefs Academy are the perfect place for students to develop, build upon, and sharpen their culinary skills as they progress through our structured program week by week. Planned around a unique monthly theme, each class is an entirely new experience that incorporates culinary skills that build upon each other to progress over time into more complex food preparation and presentation. Our weekly curriculum will immerse young chefs in a world of culinary creativity and discovery.

Great class and environment for kids to truly absorb all the beauty culinary has to offer. Clean, communicative, and professional- this place and Chef Debbie rocks! My 11 yo daughter took a class and just loved her experience here. Debra is kind, funny, helpful and a delight to interact with. I decided to sign my daughter up for the camp as well and am excited to see what takes place.
