My name is Bob Hartman, with HardRock's DJ Service. I've been a professional Disc Jockey since 1994. With over twenty years experience, I have earned a reputation of providing reliable, quality service at a very fair price. I have performed at various locations over the years. It can be confusing, there are a variety of people and companies that provide mobile disc jockey services. It's very tempting to select the DJ with the cheapest price. But like the saying goes, "you usually get what you pay for". DJ services are not all equal. Here are some things to consider when looking for a DJ.
The sound equipment used at HardRock's DJ Service is top-notch. We use high quality, commericial equipment by Crown, Numark, JBL, Electro-Voice, American DJ, and many others. Our sound system provides clear, distortion free music. It's highly unlikely that we will experience equipment problems, but we always carry an extra sound system with us just in case.
We take pride in our music selection. HardRock's DJ Service has over 22,000 song selections at every event we do. It doesn't matter if it's Big Band for someone's seventy-fifth birthday party or today's top hits for a high school dance. It would be impossible to list our songs and artists here. We have it all, Big Band, Swing, Motown, Oldies, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, R&B, Top 40, Rap, Club and Country. Our music selection spans from 1940 through today. We stay current with today's hits, we always have at least 90% of Billboard's Top 40.

I highly recommend Bob Hartman and his Hardrock's DJ Service. I had a wonderful experience with him. He has an extensive library of music. Don't let his business name fool you. I think he has just about every genre of music you might request. And if he doesn't have a song he goes out of his way to get it. I contracted Mr. Hartman and his DJ services to provide his expertise for my daughters wedding reception. Mr. Hartman has years of experience DJ-ing weddings.
We met with him months before the wedding to discuss our plans. He helped us pick appropriate music for the different "events" in a normal wedding reception. Events like: introduction of wedding party, first dance, mother-son, father-daughter, group dancing, cake cutting, garter throwing, etc. He had every song we requested. The day of the event went off without a flaw.
He was the perfect DJ. He had made separate arrangements with the venue to visit and plan exactly where his equipment would be. He arrived early and when our guests arrived there was music to greet them. Our experience with him was so good that we had him DJ our second daughters wedding as well. I gave him 5 stars because he deserves it.

DJ Bob is the worst DJ I have ever heard, He was hired by our Daughter who was getting married. As an example, most people would know what dinner music is. He started playing Journey during dinner hour. When I (father of the Bride) approached him to change the music to more of an easy listening during dinner he gave me back talk. He had only two speakers.
His announcements could not be heard. None of our guests heard the announcements (cutting of the cake, first dance, etc. Our daughter gave him a list of 7 songs "not" to play. He played them anyway. Our dance floor was empty. If I where a rich may I would pay you NOT to hire this guy! Go somewhere else. In fact your cell phone with Bluetooth would be a better alternative!
