The DJ Guy is owned and operated by Ed Altounian of Howell, MI. Ed started DJing in 2000 and has over 20 years of experience DJing at nightclubs, private parties as host of a internet radio show and of course; hundreds of weddings. Some of our repeat clients include Pepsi Bottling Group, Saline Lectronics, NGK Sparkplugs, Costco, The Brighton Optimist Club, Michigan State University and the University of Michigan.
With over 22 years of experience, multiple awards and a 89% referral average, I believe that we can exceed your expectations. There are a lot of DJs to choose from these days. Many are young kids with no experience, poor equipment and no skill. You can tell the amateurs from the professionals by price.
While we make every effort to give all of our clients a feedback form at the end of their event, we do not always get them back. In 2015 we saw a significant decrease in the amount of feedback forms being returned and a shift towards online reviews and thank you cards and a lot of text message thank yous.
Photo booth features your choice of open style (backdrop) or enclosed (traditional) and includes unlimited photo sessions, props, custom graphic design, prints for all guests, digital copy of all images, and a beautiful custom photo scrap book with guests wishes or words of congratuations signed next to their photo, put together by our photo booth attendant who will help guests use the booth and maintain the area.

The DJ guy is the guy to hire. We had a nontraditional covid wedding reception. He hit all of our special requests. Highly recommend this very professional DJ. We had the platinum package with the photobooth and extra hours of service. The DJ guy, Ed, did a fantastic job and kept people on the dance floor despite the 90+ degree humid day. Would hire again and would absolutely recommend you book him ASAP before he accepts another wedding.

ED was extremely professional, did not play any of the types of music that we requested he not play. We gave him the "timeframe" of when we wanted to complete everything and if we were talking or doing something else he came and got us to remind us of the time and what was coming next. His price was reasonable for the work he did, prep, day of work, etc.
We had him for the ceremony and he was there ahead of time and ready and setup. I would 100% recommend ED if anyone asked. Plus he has done some many weddings that chances are he has dj'ed at your venue before and knows what the expect and how the sound works at your venue, etc.

Travis was our DJ for our wedding, he did such an amazing job! I'm so happy we used this company for our wedding. Travis went out of his way to make sure things were running smoothly and that we were okay and didn't need anything. I would highly recommend! We also used their photo booth and that was great as well!

Travis was our DJ! I honestly could not have asked for a nicer, more qualified and professional guy for our wedding! The whole night flowed so smoothly from the ceremony music to the receiving of the bridal party and then onto great dance music! Everything was perfect! I highly recommend the services of The DJ Guy and Ed was awesome to deal with regarding all the planning of our daughter's special day! Couldn't be happier!
