The Prickly Pair Jazz Duo is an instrumental jazz guitar and bass duo. We perform at many corporate get-togethers, private dinner and cocktail parties, grand openings as well as weddings. Our music will never overpower your guests' ability to talk, or just enjoy the music. My husband and I could not be happier with the Prickly Pear Jazz Duo (Dan Sieckman). They played the perfect music and ambiance for a lively night where all my guests could talk and hear each other. Their playing was impeccable and I couldn't recommend them more. Very professional and kind people!

I used the Prickly Pair for an event I organized in Phoenix and I am sure glad I did. Dan and his colleague were first rate! From the planning phase right up to the day of the event, Dan was incredibly attentive, accessible and easy to work with. There were a lot of details to the event but none so small that Dan did not have time to discuss. And the music was amazing! I could see that my client and their guests were really enjoying it. I would certainly use Prickly Pair again and highly recommend this group for an event of any type.

These guys were super! I couldn't have asked for more. They're brand of music was just the right touch for our corporate event. They were also very accommodating in handling a few special requests. They are great musicians, and I would definitely use them again without hesitation.

The perfect fit!
The guys were terrific. Consummate musicians and very personable. Our even planner mentioned how they added greatly to the ambiance. 200 attendees who stayed for the duration! So happy with how it all turned out!

Great band!
I did not want a DJ for my wedding, but I did want some live jazz. The Prickly Pair Jazz duo was great: they played standard jazz favorites, and the music was a great compliment to the reception! Communication was very easy, and I enjoyed working with them.
