Bit pricey but, if you like to bowl they allow you to do so provided you pay them the money dollars they ask

Having a blast being in the Lousy Bowlers League. We will definitely keep doing this. The staff is friendly, the establishment is clean, the pitchers of beer are cold and the french fries ate tasty. We do have an AMC near us, but it's worth the trek to go to this one.

Counter staff became upset after accepting groupon and being informed we were with a group that was there. Kept sighing and shaking her head angrily while saying "you should have told me that before." She kept angrily pressing keys and shaking her head like we had absolutely ruined her day. At that point I apologized for being an inconvenience and left. Would rather lose the money paid and never return than be the outlet for your scorn.

Fantastic place to bowl. The college student discount on Thursdays is a great deal and we spend two hours here minimum. Food could be better but the staff is accommodating, friendly and helpful. Not to mention the music is always great and restrooms are clean.

My family and I never bowed before. We went to this place and I specifically asked an older lady with short hair how to play and how much it would cost. She told me that it was $7 and some change per person and we had to pay for the shoes. So after the first game I told her how much would it be for another game and she told me oh you can play throughout the night and it would be $7 and some change per person plus the shoes.

Why did they charge me $190 Plus the cost of the game and the cost of the shoes. I'm calling the manager to see why they charged me so much money when I was told totally different

Old school bowling lanes maintained like they should be. staff is friendly and the hot dogs are delicious

Constant lane dysfunction and dirty ball returner. My ball had this brown gunk on it after every throw and the lanes had no oil on them. My ball was dry as a bone after two games. Nice staff tho.

OVERPRICED! TERRIBLE SERVICE! Went here with my girlfriend trying to have a nice date. Worst experience i've ever had at a bowling ally. She is new to bowling so we just asked for 2 games. Ended up only getting one. Basically, if you want to play 2 games, you pay for 4. The first women (old lady, red shirt) was very rude. We were clearly confused about how they charge and instead of helping us understand, she repeated the same sentence over and over.

Like if you hate your job that much, then quit. Be prepared to hand over $30 to play for 10 minutes. Wouldn't recommend at all. These people milk their customers for money instead of ensuring they have a good time. Go play at a local bowling ally. More friendly and affordable.

It's a good place to bowl. We only had one problem, we couldn't get 2 people added to play because they were very busy. They were finally added after waiting 20 to 25 minutes. No problems after that.

3 Stars based on lack of staffing, fun factor and 18% gratuity on all food or drink orders. Was in here on a Saturday night with family and friends, no excitement was in the building. I've worked in a bowling alley before, music videos playing, DJ jamming type of vibe. AMF didn't have that. Still a nice clean spot to enjoy a game.

Awesome place to go. The lady working front counter was very funny and courteous but professional. The lanes were not timed, so we were able to take our time. I would definitely recommend.

Had my son's birthday there they went above and beyond to make sure it was special. Even getting him the bowling pin he scored a strike with. He was so happy and surprised. It made me tear a lil. A year of joy. I recommend this place always. In today's society where all businesses want is patrons but are not willing to show they are appreciated This place shows why having values and common courtesy go a long way. It sure did with me

We were looking for a bowling alley that had lanes available and this was the only one in the area that did. Now I know why. It's a very clean place and well decorated. If you don't plan on doing the unlimited bowling sessions, prepare to really pay for lane usage. It's quite expensive and definitely more than most other alleys in the area.

The one thing that really turned me off to this place and has made me decide to not ever return again was the 'covid fee' that was added to each purchase we made for the food and the bowling. I've never experienced this before and I found it unnecessary to make their customers pay this fee. We had fun bowling and the employees were friendly, but overall it was just 'meh'.

So, I went in yesterday with a group of friends and immediately gave my credit card so I could pay. After the night was over we were leaving the bowling alley and we were accused of not paying and taking one of the shoes. After going inside all of the shoes were there and the situation became very confusing. Being accused of theft is not something I take lightly especially if it is a false accusation.

I gave it a two star because of the nice manager who helped us at the end but otherwise our lane broke at least 3 times and nobody came over to help us. If you are looking for a pretty much empty place to go to for bowling on a Saturday night last minute I would recommend.

This location is ok for Tuesday and Wednesday specials, but any other night, you're better off heading somewhere else. Currently they have Tuesday $2.88 specials for games, tacos and certain drinks. On Wednesdays and Fridays they have 13.89 per person unlimited bowling after 7pm and 9pm respectively. I've only gone on Wednesdays and they have a league that starts and takes precedence at 7pm.

Once it took almost 15 minutes to get waited on when we were the first in line. That wait has only happened once, so maybe it was a fluke. My main issue is that most alleys won't put other groups on the same ball return with you to limit Covid exposure. This one will almost always put another group on your lane. The last time, they put a group of 5 in the ball return with us.

This is sort of hit and miss, but there are other lanes that won't put someone next to you at all. Of the lanes I've been to in the area, the concession prices are highest here as well. I believe a soda is $3.50 or so - and it isn't a large cup. A nearby lane will sell you a pitcher of soda for $5. Lastly, this location is fairly old. It isn't an awful experience, but on most nights I'd recommend looking around.

This review is based on bowling only. We did not eat or utilize the arcade area. My partner and I visited on a Friday night. We had a $20 groupon that gave us shoe rental and a 2 hour bowl. We took full advantage and had a great time. Our lane had some issues twice but it was fixed within a minute. We did order water with lemon and the guy fixing it didn't have on gloves which was not very pleasant. Everyone was wearing masks during the time we were there so that's great. The lanes are already about 6 ft apart so that worked out as well. We will be back!

Went randomly with my family and had a fantastic time! Cool place that I would visit again. Ordered some snacks and drinks, the pizza was delicious and the chicken tenders were phenomenal! They weren't dry or anything else that you would probably think they would be, they were delectable. The fries were also very tasty. Food and drinks were a little pricey but definitely worth it. 10/10 would do it again.

This place was pretty good. During this pandemic they did an amazing job keeping the distances and protocols. Me and my fiance went on a Saturday morning and it was not to packed. Their prices isn't bad as well. Also they had a pretty good menu as well. We tried the Buffalo cauliflower and it was pretty good. Overall the prices were not bad either. Definitely would recommend if you just looking for a nice outing for friends or dates.

Our family had do much fun! Even the smaller kiddos enjoyed themselves! Staff is wonderful, was very helpful at getting our group set up. Would definitely recommend visiting here! We will be returning next year for our Family Reunion in Texas!

Spent NYE 2020 here and had the best time! All you can eat buffet and drinks didn't disappoint. Manager Cotten was the best! Entire staff extended great hospitality and service. We recommend AMF lanes in Richardson and will definitely be back! Happy New Year!

2019 Yelp 120 Challenge - #99 My kickball league had a bowling Christmas party at this location and honestly it was a horrible mess. AMF's bar area was nice and the staff that I encountered were very helpful whenever I asked questions. However; we had a lot of issues. The reason for my low rating were because of the dysfunctional lanes. It took forever to set up the game and input the players names.

Our bowling balls kept getting suck at the bottom of the lane and the tables and lanes were horribly organized. Our bowling shoes looked as if they were donations from the goodwill which mean they were very well worn and honestly it was just a complete mess. I have experienced better bowling allies and I would recommend doing your homework on the location or going one day during the week for discounted prices. If not then be expected to transported back into time

Late night bowling with very cheap rates. Went with friends and had fun experience. Good drinks but very high price. Must visit to have fun with friends.

Having just finished several years of League bowling there we are never going back It has become a horrible place to bowl Horrible customer service the entire place is filthy dirty its disgusting how sad It's become sub par never again

Originally we were going to meet up with my friend at the Garland location but she mentioned it was so packed they were recommending/sending people to Richardson/Addison locations. So since we were on our way we decided to drive to Richardson instead because Garland had a 3 hour wait! No thank you. Upon arriving at Richardson we ended up waiting in line for about 15 min. with only about 3 customers in front of us.

Very short staffed and not organized what so ever for this type of offer! Best part of course was the free 1 hour bowling. I didn't even ask about the $5 free gift passes because too much was going on and just time passing by. This played part into the 1 hour bowling time too. Pizza is alright, definitely not worth $2/slice. $1 drinks were definitely kid sizes and again, not worth it. The kids had a great time and that's the reason we went, so a thumbs up for the free bowling offer.

Horribly managed. Go to the front counter, one girl is working. 3 other workers including one with a black shirt just sat there on their phones and didn't help after noticing we were just standing there waiting for help. So rude. Can't believe people like that have jobs. We've been coming to this bowling alley for years and the workers have come and gone. Not a steady one. Learn some respect and help YOUR customers! Other than the employees the lanes are great! They oil them and their not dry.

This was a good place for a bowling hangout on a Saturday evening. There are ample bowling lanes available and are decently maintained. We got the first lane so got the corner to ourself which was convenient. Our order of fries and beer was brought in pretty quick. Overall, it was a great place for a casual bowling experience and is worth the money. I will come here again!

Great bowling alley. We loved it. It is redone enough that it is clean and the stale cigarette smell that bowling alleys of 10 years ago had is not there. I have some nostalgia there, but it is really for the best. It is also a real all american bowling alley and none of the uptown fancy bowling alley world that seems to keep popping up. I loved it!

I went here last night and I had a great time. Everyone that was working last night was really nice. There were a lot of families there last night and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I like the music videos which made it fun to bowl. Bowling a can be very pricey so we were excited to see all the specials AMF has. We will definitely be back.

We came here on Sunday night with a large group from my church, First United Methodist Church Richardson. While I was hoping to snag a good deal, being in a large group, I was shocked to pay close to $30 for my husband and I. This covered two hours of bowling and shoe rental. While this isn't an awful deal, I was hoping to get a better deal for being in a large group.

Our group ordered a few pizzas while we bowled. I was surprised at how good they were. Yum! All in all, I would probably come back on a weekday night when they are running deals!
