In 1996, Party Perfect was founded in Richmond VA with the purchase of inventory from a local event rental store that was closing. Many of the key employees from the closing store jumped at the opportunity to have a fresh start within a smaller, locally focused event rental company. The initial rental inventory purchase consisted of tents, tables, chairs, linens, table settings, staging, and catering equipment. The foundation of inventory and motivated team members is the catalyst of the success that Party Perfect has achieved today.
Our experienced rental coordinators can help you plan for every size and type of special event, from the most intimate dinner party to a charity event for 2,000 guests. We're here to help you figure out everything, from tent rentals and linen sizing to multiple-site equipment coordination. Party Perfect is your one stop shop for all your special event rental needs.
We deliver to all of Virginia and the surrounding states. For larger events such as corporate events, festivals, conventions, graduations, film shoots and sporting events, we will deliver outside of our normal service area. Standard delivery includes delivery and pick-up to a location that is within 20' away from the back of the delivery truck.

Rented chairs for a wedding. Things got a little confusing as far as the amount we asked for but they resolved it quickly and refunded us the difference. Great staff and customer service. Chairs were a good quality chair and looked great. I will recommend anyone to them for rentals.

I cannot recommend Party Perfect enough! Had a corporate holiday party for about 250 employees. Mike and his team helped us to create the perfect Casino Night. From start to finish Party Perfect was there to make suggestions, plan layout and execute a flawless party. The dealers were entertaining, social and even spilled a few gambling secrets. I hired Party Perfect for rentals for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception for my daughter and her new husband. There were many moving parts with these events, and a year-long Covid delay caused additional changes to our original plans. The entire team, and especially Angela Bowles, were helpful, flexible, creative, competent, and wonderful to work with.

We were working from out of town, and they accommodated my schedule to be able to preview and help select the decor. The orders were flawless. They were delivered and picked up on time. I was impressed with their wide selection and attentiveness. They were extremely helpful in assisting us with what all we needed. I can recommend them without reservation for your next event.

The staff at Party Perfect, Angie Bowles and her staff were completely amazing! I ordered my tables, chairs and linens from them. Everything was in prestine condition. The ordering things during consultation, to picking them up and everything being setup I knew my day was going to be perfect and I didn't have to worry about a thing. We recently contracted with The Prop Shop (now merged with Party Perfect) for a very small wedding and dinner in Richmond. Though the wedding was in a home, we felt like we were amidst a beautiful venue, thanks to the rental wares from The Prop Shop/Party Perfect. KJ made everything so easy and provided all we needed to create the perfect atmosphere for our family wedding. Their dinnerware, glassware, linens, on schedule delivery and pick up helped us all have a wonderful weekend.

After just speaking to Party Perfect I am blown away with how easy and accommodating they are to deal with. I had chair rentals for a brunch at our home last May 2020 for our son's wedding. Of course we had to cancel due to Covid. This year due to covid and family from Canada that can not travel, we canceled again. Out of all the deposits that was put down for their wedding, Party Perfect were the only ones to give the deposit back. I rented table linens for a baby shower I hosted. The linens worked out perfectly; however, I felt the service from all of the service reps with whom I came in contact was average. No one was super helpful. I wanted table overlays for a several tables, which seemed a chore. The one great thing they did was offer an opportunity to come in to peruse their inventory.

I am an out-of-town customer, so it never worked out for me to do so. I called the week of pickup to see if I could look at the inventory day-of. Alaura told me, "No, I'm going to be slammed on Saturday. I'm the one working on Saturday and we will be really busy with pickups, I have a meeting on Saturday.we won't have time for that." When I came in on Saturday (around 10AM), I parked directly in front of the shop-- the only other cars there were the employees.

I walked in and there were only two employees in the place. There was no rush, in fact the atmosphere was very chill. I was the sole customer. I mentioned the overlays, and was promptly told they didn't have what I was looking for. I was directed to the pickup bay. At the pickup bay, the attendant placed the linens in my car, which was nice. But, NO ONE explained how to return rentals to Party Perfect. I'm an out of town client, so that information would have been helpful. I would use them again, but will definitely set expectations upfront. I think they probably operate better locally and as an event coordination, not party rental company.

Phyllis at Party Perfect was so helpful! Rentals are one of those things that constantly have to get updated as the big day gets closer, and I've definitely had days where I called and emailed her multiple times to add this or remove that. She was very accommodating, patient, and flexible, and helped make sure I had everything I need. I could also count on her to coordinate with my other vendors when needed, and she was just very reliable and communicative all around. Thanks so much!

I work in on the TV show "Homeland" in Richmond. Our locations crew have been using Party Perfect for tents, tables etc. I work in the set decorating department and recently had a last minute schedule change come up. Party Perfect was able to deliver everything a day earlier than planned because of their relationship with our venue. This actually ended up being really great for us, because we had some extra time to set up for our wedding which took a lot of stress off of us. They also had arranged for everything to be picked up the following Tuesday, so we had some extra time to gather our own items and organize theirs for pick up. Everything was beautiful!

Ashley was a dream to work with in planning for our reception. She was prompt and friendly and helped me with insight and assured me that set up and breakdown would ease the stress of the day. However, the day of was a nightmare with one individual delivering a bit later than expected (I luckily had friends and family willing to help unload and set up) and being told the night of that I needed to break down, despite having a contract that said that Party Perfect would set up and break down. Again, fortunately, I have amazing friends and family that were amazingly helpful, but then entire day was a complete ball of stress - when I should have been able to enjoy it.

When I disputed the charges, I was told that not only was it not their fault, but I also owed for cleaning of dishes "because they were dirty" - despite us having to rush to clean up the venue because of the failure on their end. An absolute terrible experience the day of and post. For a customer who spent $2k on a single evening event with them, it's extremely disappointing their lack of customer service. I would NOT recommend them to anyone who desires to be stress free during what is supposed to be the best day of their lives.

I worked with Vicki at Party Perfect for my recent wedding. She was excellent in updating my order each time something changed and answered all of my questions. They had a great selection and everything was delivered perfectly, with the exception of 1 easel that got left behind. Even with the 1 forgotten item, I would definitely use Party Perfect for any future rental needs.
