Primo was awesome! The music was on point! We aren't dancers but primo had everyone on the dance floor. We also really loved the photo booth! Highly recommend!

Diane was just fantastic for my 11 year old's first dance party! She has a great presence and was able to keep the party going and get all the kids dancing. Diane was on time, set up quickly, and can read the crowd. I would hire her for any event, adults or kids. Highly recommend!

We hired Primo DJ for both of our kids' coming of age ceremonies (Bar and Bot Mitzvahs) and they were awesome both times. Diane has an almost instinctual sense of how to make a room look like a party, knows many games that 13 year olds enjoy, and dances for all ages. They clearly have years of experience and exceptional professionalism. I cannot recommend enough and if you want to keep your party going, hire Primo DJs.

I was very lucky to have found DJPrimo on yelp and let me tell you. stop searching because they are THE ONES! I initially met with Diane, and what can I say about her? She is AMAZING! You can tell she loves what she does and very few people can say that. The day before the wedding I was having a hard time getting a hold of my organist that was going to play at church for us.

I was really freaking out. I reached out to Diane and she was on it without hesitation. I ended up reaching my organist at the end and used him only because he was a family friend, otherwise I would of had the pleasure of having Diane at my ceremony. DJ Luis played at our venue and he was amazing! I was looking for a DJ that could cater to my diverse family. DJ Luis perfectly balanced my request for Spanish and English music. He truly brought life to the party and everyone had a great time. Everything ran very smoothly thanks to him!

We got Primo DJ's contact information from our Reception Venue's catering magazine. It was incredibly easy to communicate with Primo and he even called the week before to ensure that he pronounced all of our wedding party names correctly. Setting up the cocktail hour, dinner, dance and intro list songs was super easy. They sent out the information via email and their program was easy to find specific songs to add to our playlist.

They were easy to get in contact with if we had questions and they always responded promptly. During the reception we turned around and noticed our guests with all these fun hats on and in the corner of the dance floor they were playing limbo. Primo was awesome to work with and they even took some photos during the event for us to keep. We would definitely recommend Primo DJ.

Where do I even start?!. Diane was not only my DJ, but helped coordinate my wedding to make sure it went smoothly and on time. She kept the positive energy flowing at all times and kept our guests wanting more. Diane even captured some priceless moments on camera for us ensuring we were able to look back on them for memories. We cant nearly thank her enough for all her help and highly recommend her excellent service!. My husband was throughly impressed and happy she was a part of our special day! Thank you so much Diane! Hey Yelp, I should have sent in my review last December but I haven't been actively yelping. I do remember this though, DJ Primo was working the hype at my holiday party in the Museum of Man. Many people liked this DJ a lot and was very flexible with my song requests. He also turned up the hype on our Dance Off, which he really made the contestants work it and work out to his broad mix and fade. Cool Filipino dude, wanted to hire him again but he got booked so prompt :. Must be a good thing.

Primo is awesome! Came early to make sure where to setup and was so friendly to everyone. He kept everyone involved and made the party fun. I highly recommend him for your next party. Tony Pyros

We hired Primo DJ for our wedding and were extremely satisfied with his high energy and ability to get all of our guests up and dancing. I had told him at our consult that I loved to dance, well he took this comment to heart and had us dancing until the venue closed. He also provided awesome up lights for our reception space, was a wonderful MC, and a pleasure to work with. Both him and his wife are so helpful throughout the whole process and we are so happy we were able to book him for our big day!

YES, YES, YES! We're super happy with primo and how he dj'ed our wedding. He literally feels the crowd and looks for what's working and goes with it! He played our requested music that we had planned out, is very easy to communicate with and responds promptly to emails. I pretty much didn't stop dancing my whole wedding. I loved every bit of it, I've never loved seeing so many sweaty dancing singing faces. I really needed a bilingual DJ it was delivered, my family loved the music and I felt culturally very represented. The flow of the music was perfect and he definitely went in line with our request. I can't thank him enough for adding to such a magical day. I would recommend him a million times over.

We had Diane DJ our July 2016 wedding. From day one she was extremely professional. We met face-to-face and she showed us her equipment and various lighting packages. She showed us a demonstration of everything including how she would sound on the mic. She asked us personal questions such as how involved would you like me to be and what type of music fits your friends and family.

The company has an online software that allows the couple to pick various dancing and dinner songs. Diane also had a very detailed timeline and went step by step. It was clear she had a great deal of experience (over 20 years!). We were able to ask her advice you might not typically ask your DJ. She also surprised us and said she takes pictures on her phone during the event.

That was such a bonus! We were able to get soooo many extra shots. A week before the event, Diane was willing to meet with us again to go over the final timeline and song selections. She was positive and extremely helpful. On the day of the event, Primo DJ (Diane) showed up super early to set up and make sure everything was perfect. She was an absolute hit. Everything went perfectly. She was so personable and made us feel so happy we chose her! Everyone had an absolute blast. Thank you, Diane!

My husband and I just had our wedding this past weekend at BNS Brewing in Santee, and we hired DJ Diane for our event. We couldn't be any happier with our decision! She really did get everyone up and dancing, and that's exactly what I wanted. She helped me out a lot with the day-of coordinating, and kept everything in line. She never hesitated to come up to me with any important updates.

I also decided to go with the photo booth with Primo DJs, and the photos came out great. Everyone had so much fun! I totally recommend Primo DJs for your next big event! It was worth every penny.

We hired Primo DJs for our wedding on 5/31/15, after they were recommended to us by our venue, and we could not have been more pleased! After meeting Primo and Diane, we knew right away that it was a perfect fit. Diane's organization while we were planning made the process a breeze! Primo was able to get all the music that we requested, many of which were quite random, including a song from the Star Wars movies!

He even called us a couple days before the wedding to make sure he had the correct pronunciation of the names of our bridal party for the introduction. So awesome! On the wedding day, everything went perfectly. Before I walked down the aisle, I could hear that the song we chose for the processional was about to end before the bridal party had finished walking, but Primo saved the day and looped it flawlessly!

During the reception, he kept our guests engaged, had the dance floor full all night, and played all the songs we had requested. We couldn't be happier with our decision to use Primo DJs. I would 100% recommend them for anyone looking for a fun, professional, reliable, and reasonably priced DJ service!

We decided to use Primo DJs for our wedding last year, and they were excellent! We needed a bilingual (English/Spanish) DJ, so they arranged for DJ Raymon to work with us. When we initially met with Diane, she showed us a number of different lighting options, showing that they can accommodate many different needs and styles, but we went with a more basic package. DJ Raymon did a fantastic job, especially mixing up different styles of music for everyone to enjoy. We had people dancing from the first second the music started until the end. Compared with other DJs, their pricing was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend them.

DIane from Primo was AMAZING! She totally exceeded all our expectations of what a D.J does. First off, we had no day of coordinator and I had no idea about the procession of a wedding. From day one Diane organizes a schedule with you to make sure you get all the formalities of the wedding accomplished such as father daughter dance, toasts etc. She does a great job at moving the reception along and helping you stay on schedule so your not rushing to get things done.

Prior to the wedding she gathers all your song requests and honors them. She is always available to talk and got back to me right away if I had any questions. During the reception she had the crowd going and she is very good at getting people on the dance floor. She also offers up lighting for super cheap that added a perfect touch to my reception.

We were able to rent a photo booth through her which was a hit with the guest. It was because of her that my wedding ran smoothly. I had SO many guests compliment me about my D.J. I would recommend her to any one. Well worth the money spent. Thank you for the wonderful memories Diane :

Primo was the DJ at our wedding. He was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator and he was absolutely fantastic. He and Diane helped get us organized for the reception by working with us to create a schedule. Both he and Diane were extremely responsive and professional during the planning process. Our first dance song wasn't in his already extensive library, but he was able to obtain it for our dance.

From start to finish, Primo kept our guests engaged the entire night. Most importantly, he was flexible in allowing our guests to make song requests and he even gave some time to our close friend to sing a few songs for us. We were impressed with the schedule and timing of the reception and we recommend Primo to anyone that is looking for an awesome DJ.

Primo did an excellent job during our wedding. I've seen him work in numerous occasions and I highly suggest his business to everyone considering having a DJ. Diane was the DJ for our wedding last Saturday 9/28 and she was a huge hit with our guests! She was very interactive, entertaining, and got everyone up and dancing! She was very flexible with our timeline and was able to change things for us last minute when our bridal party wanted to surprise us with a dance. Diane kept our reception lively! She even led dances and got people who usually don't dance up moving!

Our whole night was smooth, high energy (like we asked for), and at the end everyone was asking us who our DJ was, and how much they enjoyed how interactive she was with our crowd. Diane was professional, upbeat, fun and kind leading up to and during our wedding! She helped us create a great reception timeline and stick to it. WOW! What a great Halloween party we had thanks to Diane at Primo DJ's! I hesitated to even hire a DJ but I am so glad we did. Diane was so fun! She got people up dancing, danced along with us, and was flexible with adding announcements at the last minute. And her light show added an entire new, fun, dynamic, by turning my poolside patio into the coolest, most exciting dance floor ever! She was professional and her equipment and sound are top notch!

Primo did not disappoint. He and his wife Dianne were both professional and great entertainers. They were organized and prompt to remind and update us of the timeline. They were easy to get a hold of and were quick to respond. We did not encounter any problem with equipment or music at our ceremony and reception. Diane was the DJ for our wedding on September 06 2013! I met her when i was 18 years old when she DJ'd my 18th birthday party and i just had to have her DJ my wedding too! She made our wedding ceremony and reception the way we wanted it, it was perfect. The music was great and she really gets everyone onto the dance floor with her upbeat personality :) our guests had a lot of fun too, Diane even gets on the dance floor and leads the line dances for us!

You can tell she really cares about her clients and that she really wants your event to be perfect and the way you want it to be. Diane at Primo DJ gave us the best wedding reception! Diane was fabulous. She played fun music that got literally every guest up on the dance floor. Between the Conga line and The Cupid Shuffle, we got our groove on ( even the grandparents)! All of our guests keep raving about how Diane got the party going. The party lasted until the event was over, and none of the guests wanted to leave early.

We attribute our wonderful reception to Diane and we know it would not have been as fun without her. Our experience started long before the event.
